Download minecraft mods Dayz - I love this mod had it on my server me and a few friends had a great time! Finally! This is the only reason i still play minecraft.
Dayz Mod - The world has been hit by a new and presently unknown infection which has wiped out most of the world’s population. You are one of the few who have survived and now you must search this new wasteland in order to fight for your life against what is left of the indigenous population, now infected with the disease.
Since our 1.6 update isn't released yet you'll have to use 1.5.2. All you need to do is install forge on both the clients and the server and place the DayZ jar in both the client and server's mod folders.
Install Minecraft Forge (look elsewhere for a guide on that), then place the downloaded DayZ jar file in the .minecraft/mods folder just like any other forge mod.
