Chemcraft Core Mod 1.6.2/1.5.2

Chemcraft Core is primary a library
By itself, Core does the following things
Changes Glass and Ice blocks, making them “solid”. This means
You can place torches, redstone dust, snow, levers, track, and such on them
Mobs will spawn on them
Registers a few vanilla items and blocks to the Forge Ore Dictionary
Iron Ingots; Blocks
Gold Ingots; Blocks
Emerald; Blocks
Diamond; Blocks
These are configurable. The Glass and Ice transformers can be changed individually, although the registration is all or nothing.
Installation
Install Forge build 789 or higher1
Download Chemcraft Core
Place the .jar file into the “coremods” folder. Repeat, this is a COREMOD! If you place this in the “mods” folder, it will not work.
As of 1.6.2 coremods go into the regular mods folder.
Go down to the “Chemcraft Mods” section of this post and install any number of those mods, and have fun.
1Older builds may or may not work.

Changes
1.4.2
Updated to Minecraft 1.6.2
Lots of changes and additions, but nothing users will notice I think.
1.4.1
Fixed annoyingly dumb problem with the .jar
1.4.0
Reorganized packages.
Changed configuration format. Configs for all Chemcraft mods will now be saved in a new folder called “Chemcraft” inside the config folder. THIS MEANS THAT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR CONFIGS YOU MUST RENAME THEM AND MOVE THEM INTO THIS FOLDER! The configs themselves are unchanged.
Wait, except that the configs for Glass and Ice transformers have been MOVED to a new config called “Transformer.cfg” in the same folder. There is a good reason for this. It’s kind of complicated, but let’s just say it might help compatibility.
Some of you might notice “Chemcraft Network” in your mods list. As far as I can find, core mods can’t also be network mods, hence the need for a mostly empty mod to handle networking things. Pay it no mind.
Even more code additions for Liquid Fuels, as well as some stuff for a new mod, Geocraft, which should be up as soon as I crush one more bug.
1.3.1
Added code the register a few vanilla items to the Forge Ore Dictionary. These include Diamond, Emerald, Gold, Iron, and all the block forms of these. *Mostly only useful if you use More Backpacks. Can be disabled in the config.
Added some other code used by More Backpacks, mostly for scripts.
More code for Liquid Fuels.
Update only effects More Backpacks.
1.3.0
Lots more code for the new Liquid Fuels. Lots more to do.
A few other tweaks and changes.
1.2.0
Made Glass and Ice solid change configurable. Default is true.
Absorbed more code from More Backpacks as well as adding more for a new mod in development.
1.1.0
A few code additions and changes to account for a new mod: Securecraft
Updating is only needed if you want Securecraft.
1.0.0
Initial release!
